Sofia Barbosa Pereira, Principal Investigator of the STEAMigPOWER project, was invited to discuss the european project on Porto Canal.
The interview highlighted the project’s objectives, progress, and impact in promoting the integration of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers through inclusive STEAM education.
During the conversation, Sofia emphasised that higher education can and should play a central role in the integration process, equipping vulnerable groups with the skills and opportunities they need to build sustainable futures.
By showcasing STEAMigPOWER’s work in a public media platform, the project continues to raise awareness about the importance of education as a tool for empowerment and social inclusion.
